Remember in the summer of 2016 – right before the election – a young DNC staffer was found dead in Washington, DC? (I’m sure the picture above will spark a memory.) As a good Democrat I was VERY concerned by “reports” that he was assassinated because he leaked DNC emails to WikiLeaks.
I’m ashamed to admit that I fell for any of the misinformation that led to the most regrettable election outcome in US history. (That’s not hyperbole. Most Americans have agreed that Trump’s behavior during his tenure has been less than presidential.)
Today Media-ite is reporting that an Appeals Court has revived the lawsuit against Fox News by the Rich family.
The lawsuit alleged Fox intentionally caused severe emotional distress to Rich’s parents by publishing a “sham” story about Rich’s still-unsolved murder. The case was thrown out last year by a lower court.

Fox News’s May 2017 story, which it later retracted, cited unidentified law-enforcement sources to claim Rich was killed for leaking Democratic National Committee emails to Wikileaks. Police have repeatedly stated there is no evidence for this claim and that Rich was likely killed in a botched robbery.
