And while that’s all good and (s)well, I don’t have much faith in Americans anymore.
Honestly, we raised our children with an undercurrent of the idea that people are good… people are thoughtful and treat each other with dignity and respect. There was never a doubt that that idea applied to MOST people. That is until Roger Ailes started fueling the animosity that rages under the surface of our culture and then Donald Trump really let the crazies out!
