It’s been 4 years (nearly to the date) that I’ve posted to this site. Living it day-to-day is either overwhelming or mundane. I’ll try to catch you up on the important stuff, and give you a sense of the time that has passed.<\/p>\n
By September of 2021, I was happily committed to a work-from-home situation. It was suddenly much easier to take my mom to doctors’ appointments, lunch, or just sit with her and watch a “ball” game – my mother pretty much liked any kind of “ball” game, except baseball.<\/p>\n
It was a quiet, happy time. Not much to complain about. With COVID restrictions, like wait staff shortages at restaurants and wait lines for in-store shopping at Target and Costco, we stuck around the house a lot. So, I did what I do… I started taking a hammer to walls! (Not always<\/em> sure if it wasn’t holding up the house!)<\/p>\n It’s started in the summer, though, that Greg must have been bored, too. He handily took out every wall in our living room\/kitchen to the studs. That’s when I had an idea…<\/p>\n There’s not much archival information on my calendar, except one date at the end of August.
